To ensure that we can support growing sites in the Detroit area, we are holding a fundraiser throughout December for two major garden requirements for 2018 and operations.
1. A tractor to replace that which was stolen in October – this is critical to ensure continuation of operations, and
2. A truck to supplement growing needs for garden managers and operations.
Collectively, the need is expected to lie in the range of $70,000-$80,000. These two expenditures will require the largest monetary outlays that Buckets of Rain has had since its inception, and we need help. Thank you for your consideration, and Happy Holidays from Buckets of Rain!

About Buckets of Rain: Our primary efforts have focused on growing produce in our "Big Glen" garden in Highland Park, a neighborhood of metro Detroit, but we have growing needs in new areas. Since 2012, "Big Glen" has produced hundreds-of-thousands of servings of fresh produce for the rescue missions and residents within the local community. By 2020, we aim to dramatically increase the servings of fresh vegetables per season. This will require about 10 acres in continuous production and ten full time seasonal employees.
